Sterling Card

The Sterling Card is Sterling Books' customer card, discount card, loyalty card or fidelity card.

The rules are very simple, but there are rules. Most importantly, the idea is to provide you, our loyal customer, with a small incentive to enjoy shopping at Sterling Books even more. The Sterling Card.
No Strings attached. Do not hesitate to ask for yours at the till.

Here are the rules:
In principle the way it works is simple: From May 2008 onward, for every 100 Euros you spend in the store we will give you 5 Euros off your next purchase.

For reasons of economy there are, however, the customary exceptions: The card does not apply to school textbooks, or items that have already been reduced in price, such as sale books.


This is how it works:

1) For every 10 Euro you spend at the store, you receive a stamp or employee's signature on your card.

• If you forget your card, bring your validated till receipt back next time and we will add points to your card then.
• We will happily combine several partially completed cards on one card.
• However, we cannot replace partially complete cards / validated till receipts that have been lost.

2) Once you have collected 10 stamps / signatures on your card you are entitled to 5 Euros off your next purchase.

• The card entitles you to this 5 Euro reduction for the period of one year from the date of the last purchase that completed a set of 10 stamps.
• You can choose to use this 5 Euro reduction immediately on the purchase that completes a set of 10 stamps.

3) On a strictly voluntary basis, Sterling Books reserves the right to ask you to provide your name and e-mail address for in-store use in our client database. You may choose to leave your contact information so we can keep you up to date concerning bargain prices, early export editions (see Sterling Stars), and special events. Whether or not you provide this information has no bearing on the validity of your Sterling Card.

In all of the above, Sterling Books reserves the sole right to arbitrate the rules of the Sterling Card as stipulated.
