Are you familiar with the Julia Donaldson's Gruffalo? The seemingly imaginary monster conjured by a mouse which turns out to look just like it imagined? Or are you, like Lewis Carol's Alice, still puzzled by the Jabberwocky which, to quote: "Somehow [] fills my head with ideas, only I don't exactly know what they are!" Perhaps your fantasy has called up more sinister creatures, like China Mieville's Slakemoths, feeding on dreams and the very stuff that imagination is made of?

Whatever they are like, once you close your book - fantastic creatures won't let you go. They come with you. So ... how are you going to let the world know?
